How to buy a painting

and other FAQs

Biker Chick, painting by Linda Tenukas

First let me say that any painting that I sell comes with a 15 day money back guarantee. Put it up in your home and if you don't love it, send it back to me in the condition you received it and I will refund your money less shipping costs, no questions asked. I never want anyone to be less than thrilled with anything that I paint.

You will see my paintings listed in one of two ways: framed or cradled panel. Either way they will be ready to hang out of the box. Paintings are framed either in a warm silver color or a dark wood with a warm silver liner, depending on which I think looks best. Cradled panels have a more contemporary look. The wood or masonite panel that the painting is on has a thicker depth, usually about 1-2" and the edge is painted either black or another neutral color. Although I may have chosen to paint on a cradled panel, there is no reason that the customer cannot have it framed themselves.

When you decide to purchase a painting from my website, click on the "Buy Now" button and you will be taken to the PayPal page to complete the transaction. Please note that PayPal does NOT require you to have an account. You may use almost any credit card on their site. Connecticut residents will have sales tax added to their order. Shipping charges usually run about an additional 5-6% of the purchase price.

After PayPal sends me a notification that you have purchased a piece, I will pack it and ship it out, usually within 1-2 days. I will notify you if there is any delay. Once the painting has shipped, I will email you the tracking number. On very large or heavy pieces I must use a shipping service which will occasionally require that the painting be crated. Although this increases the shipping costs, it is the only way to insure the painting's safe arrival.
